Conference

dfa-2017

4th - 5th September 2017

QT Hotel, Gold Coast QLD, Australia

About

After two successful conferences at the Liverpool Hospital in 2013 and 2015, this was the third in the Australian Diabetic Foot Conference series. We brought some of the globe’s most renowned researchers and clinicians in the fields of diabetes and foot disease to the Gold Coast, to cover the latest research, from bench-top to bedside.

The Diabetic Foot Australia (DFA) Conference 2017 Committee extended a very warm welcome to our delegates who over two days at the QT enjoyed the latest in research and practice, and meet with industry partners offering the latest products and services.

We welcomed delegates from all multidisciplinary specialties caring for people with diabetic foot disease. The conference offered unique content for everyone, from people working every day at the coalface of the disease to researchers studying the solutions of the future.

Just metres from the beach front, our delegates enjoyed a spectacular scientific and social program. Plenary lectures and workshops reflected our 2017 theme and logo: wound infection, vascular surgery, multi-disciplinary treatment and biomechanics.
